Do research (and get paid)
During URGO鈥檚 Summer Research Program, students complete a research or creative project under the guidance of a faculty mentor and receive a stipend of $6,000. Academic Year Research Grants provide students with a $1,200 grant to conduct 80 hours of research during the academic year.
URGO also helps students identify and apply for research opportunities at other universities. Through this program, Augsburg students have conducted research at Harvard, Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, Princeton, Cornell, University of Minnesota, and Drexel, among other institutions.
Here in the URGO office, we work with students who do hands on research that make a real impact. Each year, our students tackle meaningful questions through projects that inspire innovation, sharpen critical thinking, and open doors to graduate programs and impactful careers.
