Olivia Muyres ’15聽was named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Year.
Muyres, who helped Augsburg win its first MIAC championship, was featured in the Rochester Post-Bulletin for her accomplishments in the Nov. 22 NCAA Division III Tournament. Muyres scored聽the winning goal in overtime during the first game.

Wrestling — Claiming a top-four finish in the team standings for the 20th straight year — a record currently unmatched by any other NCAA wrestling program in any division — the Augsburg wrestling team finished third at the NCAA Division III National Championships. Augsburg claimed five All-Americans, marking the 20th straight season that Augsburg has had five or more All-Americans and 22nd time it has accomplished the feat in its 26 seasons of NCAA competition.
Augsburg College alumnus Dr. James Mastro ’73, a pioneer in athletics for the blind, is one of five Paralympic athlete finalists nominated for induction into the United States Olympic Hall of Fame.
