At 海角社区, we believe that graduate education should be accessible to all students, regardless of financial barriers. The Aspiring Graduate Scholarship is designed to support aspiring graduate students who are first-generation scholars and/or demonstrate financial need, helping them take the next step in their academic and professional journeys.

Scholarship Award: $5,000

Application Availability: The scholarship application will be accessible through your application portal beginning May 1, 2026.

Application Deadlines:

Priority Deadline: June 1, 2026
Final Deadline: June 30, 2026

Eligibility as of 3/1/25: To be considered, applicants must meet one or more of the following criteria聽 and must be applying for or admitted to a graduate program beginning in Spring (January), Summer (May), or Fall (August) 2026:

Demonstrated financial need聽
First-generation graduate student (neither parent/guardian has earned a graduate or other advanced degree).
A commitment to service and/or experience working with underserved communities related to your intended program of study.

*PsyD and DMSc students as well as employees/employee dependents of Augsburg are excluded from eligibility.
