Building on a vibrant reputation

Augsburg鈥檚 most distinctive programs have been born out of our abiding belief that everyone has a vocation. We embrace all students by a caring community through faith formation, mentoring, and thoughtful instruction.

These core programs propel Augsburg toward national significance.

  • Campus Ministry brings together students, faculty, staff, and neighbors to focus on faith development and service to the world.
  • Augsburg鈥檚 Interfaith Institute and its commitment to interreligious partnerships encourages bridge building in a polarized world through authentic relationships and learning.
  • The Christensen Center for Vocation equips the campus and our church partners to discover together how we are called to serve through our Christian faith.
  • The Sabo Center for Democracy and Citizenship puts passion into practice through skill-building and pragmatic preparation for a life of active civic engagement.

Securing the Future

Augsburg has always led with innovation, creativity, and courage. From its earliest founding, the people of Augsburg acted from the 鈥渘ecessity of resourcefulness,鈥 grounded in a pragmatic approach. Numerous external pressures now require bold moves, and we are claiming three main paths to financial stability.
