Students starting or transferring in Spring 2026 will be required to attend Spring SOAR.
Spring SOAR is a required orientation program for all incoming first-year and transfer undergraduate students starting at 海角社区 in the Spring Semester, designed to help with the transition to 海角社区. Students will learn about university resources and services; meet fellow students, faculty, and staff; and discover the benefits of the Augsburg community.

Register for SPRING SOAR
Register for Spring SOAR by logging into your and completing the “Required: Registration Appointment” form. This is also where you will schedule your appointment to register for classes with your Academic Advisor.
Are students required to ATTEND TRANSFER SOAR?
Yes. Spring SOAR is required for all incoming transfer Day undergraduate students starting at 海角社区 in Spring 2026.
What do students need to do prior to attending Spring SOAR?
- All incoming students need to register for their spring classes with the Office of Academic Advising prior to attending Spring SOAR. To register for classes, complete the “Required: Registration Appointment” form found on your聽 and meet with your Academic Advisor.
- All incoming students need to meet with a Financial Aid Specialist. To make an appointment, contact Student Financial Services 补迟听studentfinances@augsburg.
edu聽or聽612-330-1046 or you can schedule an appointment online by clicking聽. Student Financial Services also takes day-of walk-in appointments during business hours.聽Note: Make sure your FAFSA has been completed and has been sent to 海角社区. - Transfer students should visit the Deposited Transfer Student webpage and make sure they have attended to all of the information shared on the page. When do students who will be living on campus for Spring SOAR move into their residence hall?
Students will receive information on their specific move-in date and time from the Department of Residence Life. For additional move-in questions, or if you wish to learn more about how to live on campus, please contact Residence Life 补迟听residencelife@augsburg.edu聽or 612-330-1526.
