The Augsburg is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education聽and offers聽two specializations. The first, Multicultural Clinical Practice (MCCP), prepares students聽for direct clinical practice with individuals, families, and groups. The second, Multicultural Macro Practice (MCMP), prepares students聽for macro social work practice with organizations, communities, and other large systems.聽We offer pathways of entry for those with a Bachelors of Social Work as well as students with聽an undergraduate degree in another discipline.
We strive to prepare exceptional social work professionals for anti-racist and anti-oppressive advanced social work practice that promotes intersectional racial and social justice in a diverse and global society. Our highly integrated curriculum provides a well-rounded, coherent education combining social work theory, policy, practice methods, skills training, research, and evaluation techniques.
Full- and part-time programs are available and geared toward the adult student. Our class sizes of 10-20 offer you individualized attention from outstanding faculty who are internationally known for their teaching and research. Adjunct faculty are innovative practitioners and administrators from agency-based settings.
